We Are NRA Finalists!
We are incredibly proud to be shortlisted in the National Recycling Awards! As one of the most prestigious awards in the recycling sector, we are thrilled to be nominated this year. We are finalists for Recycling Facility of The Year for our PVC-U recycling base in Wellingborough.
The NRA has recognised our dedication to helping manage waste and reduce landfill usage. The forum is a great way to showcase innovative organisations in the industry and the wider economy. The awards will be revealed on the 8th of December so we’d love to be chosen!
What We Do
Here at VEKA recycling, we offer a reliable, cost-effective service for uPVC windows and doors. When the product reaches the end of its lifespan, we help to eradicate waste and prevent landfill build up. The average window or door made from uPVC has a lifespan of 30-40 years. With our recycling, we can expand this to a staggering 350-year lifespan.
When the old profiles reach our facility, we shred and compress them into pellets. These are incredibly versatile, which can be used to manufacture new, high grade products. Our sustainable work is part of our mission to create a more sustainable way of life and reduce product depletion. Our hope is to expand our passion and innovation!
We would love to win the Recycling Facility award. Our goal is to make a difference to the environment and the industry’s way of thinking. Not only does our convenient recycling centre save you time and money, but it fundamentally helps to tackle landfill. We want to raise our profile of a better way of recycling!
